If you will be doing a lot of reading with your Photon, I suggest replacing the

double batteries in the white light with a single CR2032 battery.  It should
still give you plenty of light to read by, but you will have the benefit of the

120+ hour burn time.

BTW, We just got a bunch of new water resistant Photons.  They are squeeze-only

(you'll still have to go with the Photon II if you want the on/off switch).
The water resistant feature and the new quick battery change system should be
really great for hiking.
