I love this thread - lot's of interesting careers.  I am a professional
puppeteer!  Run and Puppet studio/theatre.  We just finished a 2 week
run - Peewinkle Meets Zeno and getting ready for Red, White and Blue
Revue and then on to The Slightly Haunted Puppet Studio.  I love my
job.  I can take off 1 month a year, I can act like a fool and get paid
for it, and I am around kids - not my own all the time.  I also am an
accompaniest for the ballet.  That's cool too.  I get to practice piano
when I want because its my job!  My college degree is in Social Work -
go figure.
