Nancy, I'm envious of your hike around Monteagle.  For 30 years I made my 
annual (or more often) trip home to southern Illinois by driving up 
Monteagle.  It was always the highlight of my 900 mile trip to be up there 
with the great views and breezes. I ALWAYS stopped at least at the interstate 
pullout.  Wish I had know there was a trail up there!  If you have any 
websites or map info, please send it on.
