You all need to keep this quiet, but Felix is a sweetheart, a real 
sweetheart.  Not attending the Ruck, but wanting to contribute to the fund 
for the Place, I bid on three of the Mellencamp guitar picks--one for my 
17-year-old guitar playing nephew, one for my 13-year-old son (Greg) who's 
taking guitar lessons, and one for Greg's guitar teacher (who also taught 
Greg piano for thee years).  

In typical goofus fashion, I lost the pick for Mr. Camelleri, the teacher.  
BUT Greg had already told Mr. Camelleri that I had the pick for him.  In 
discussing with Mr. C why I had (or should have had) a Mellencamp pick for 
him, it turned out that Mr. C had judged the drumming contest put on by a 
local music company.  The featured performer at the drummers' night out was 
Kenny Arnoff.  Mr. A and Mr. C hit it off, trading tales of their snare drum 
collections. Mr. C. is a great admirer of Mr. A's drumming talent. ----so 
when I had to red-facedly ask Felix if I could purchase one more guitar pick 
I told him about the connection with the guitar teacher and Kenny Arnoff.  

So what came in the mail today?  Another guitar pick AND an autographed Kenny 
Arnoff photo for Mr. C. . . That Felix is a sweetheart.
