The book is "Appalachian Adventure" written by several newspaper journalists
in 1995. The other fellow in the picture is David Heinstadt or "The Red Fox"
and I have lost track of him. If you or anyone else knows of his whereabouts
I would like to make contact with him. I hiked off and on with him from
Damascus to Katahdin. Ed Kendall was also with us through most of Virginia
and I know he would also like to hear from Red. I know most of the people in
that book. I thought it was nice that they essentially created a year book
for us.
