Most of the ones in the Smokys died from Parvo, they retraped the few 
remaining; don't remember where they took them. The ones in East Carolina 
were doing a little better last I read.
The Nature Center in the LBL has a pair that are in the breeding program, 
they look alot like coyotes, not quite as heavy as the grey wolves I've seen.
