A quick off the top of the head thought (brainstorm style no thought to why
it might be a bad idea) is make it small enough for easy access carrying,
loose leaf with a small multi ring binder to hold maybe two hundred miles of
data. Sections could be included in mail drops or put in a bounce box etc.
One would only need to carry small portions of the whole. 2) put a lot of
thought into page construction to marry maps, profiles and descriptions in a
way that minimizes Page Turning. a Maybe, include enough map/profile/data on
two facing pages to cover an average days hike of 15 or so miles.
More to follow when I return from Hawaii around 3/1
