I like the AMC Mohican center.  Right on the trail, good
facilities, good camping, not too far from a major airport
(Newark), nice fireplace, probably no harder to get to or remote
than the hostel.  They are good promoters of beginners learning
about hiking., etc.  I'm sure I could organize any transportation
needed from Delaware Water Gap.
