Silly people....the NEXT RUCK will be at Tommykins house....doncha read yer
email???? <g>.  Seriously though....that is the idea of the 
Ruck-RucksssssSSSS..
Don't forget, the first Ruck....back before it was even called Ruck was in HF!
It was moved to Ironmaster's because of size.  And with all the faults, like
not enough bathrooms (hmmmph...there were privies about 5 min away with
nooo lines) not enough showers (hmmmph...hikers that can't go three days 
without
repeated showers) and cramped space, the Mansion seems to have worked out
pretty well.  And it's central locale makes it a fine compromise between 
northerners
and southerners.

Besides, it took me days to come up with "A meeting for hikers
in the middle of winter at the middle of the trail" as a one line answer to 
that every
popular question, "What is a Ruck"!!! <VVVBG>
So until somebody tells me different, or the Mansion burns down, the 
next_PA_RucK
will be held on SuperBowl weekend 2001 at the Ironmaster's Mansion near the 
midpoint
of the AT.

Now ...... talk about a VA RucK or TN Ruck or a ME Ruck.
