As for being surprised by the other Rucksters, one of my low points was
suavely greeting Navigator at the Gathering with "Wait a minute, you're a
she!"
Sometimes that stuff between my ears is just my foot in my mouth <g>.

It really was great seeing everyone, and I'm sorry I didn't get to say many
proper goodbyes skipping out on Sunday morning...
