I know you didn't want to know what "type" of boots to buy, but I'll throw
in my 2 cents anyway.  Asolos claim that they don't need to be "broken in"
-- they come ready to wear.  I've had 2 pairs and I wholeheartedly agree.
No break-in time, no blisters, good marketing.
