[at-l] Backpacker Gear Guide 2000

Anyone else get theirs in the mail yesterday? Hard to believe it's been a
year since the last one :)

It is always interesting to look at your gear and see how it rates next to
all the rest. And how the gear they list stacks up to the comments about it
on this list <g>. If you don't subscribe, make sure that you go out and buy
this issue. I've still got the past 5 years gear guides, and it's a nice
handy reference to have.

For all you Rucksters - have fun. We're getting more snow this weekend, and
into next week. I'll go outside occassionally and stand it in and think of
you guys. I'll probably put all my hiking gear on and go walk around the
neighborhood just to feel more a part of it. We expect full reports and lots
o' pics.

Let the fun begin. (and the indigestion - I hope you all are taking lots of
rolaids for after the chili contest <vbg>.)
