[at-l] Class of 2000 reports?

Hi Listers
 Mr. Clean started south from Abol Bridge on Jan 1- any news of him?
 I seem to remember that some listers saw northbounders off from Springer on 
the same day, any reports?
 The weather, extreme cold and wind chills, heavy snows, ect. have me 
concerned.
 I was on the AT south of Abol Bridge a week after Mr. Clan's start, there 
was only about an inch of snow at the time and easy hiking. But it's Maine in 
the winter, and conditions have really changed.
