Re: [at-l] Fwd: Re: Unusual {TRAIL} Weddings

In 1998 Freddie and Jester invited the known trail world to their outdoor
wedding in which he wore a kilt and so did most of the male attendees and
there was all kinds of Scottish stuff like throwing logs -- but I didn't go
and doubtless someone on the list did and could write it up better.

Then there's Dogman and Budlady (also '98)who may have had a Guiness-worthy
record walk up the aisle -- 2162 miles of AT accompanied by two of the best
trail dawgies ever -- to their wedding in -- Maine? Again, I didn't go and
others reading this probly did. jpj

Southern Harp and Travelin' Man ('95) hiked to HF, got married, and spent
their honeymoon hiking to Katahdin. Maryland Public TV has a documentary on
their hike, including Harp playing and singing her absolutely terrific AT
song.
