[at-l] Long Trail

Hi everyone,
I was thinking of doing a section of the Long Trail.  What time of year is
best for hiking this trail?  I know the black flies are bad in spring and
early summer but If I wait till late summer or early fall will lack of
water be a problem? How late in the fall can I hike without running into
major cold weather?
