OK guys!  This has dragged me right out of lurking.  I have appointed myself 
as the official measurer at the ruck.  I have the perfect measuring stick.  
I will do this at no cost to the measuree.  For a small fee I will keep it 
very confidential for those who want it kept confidential.  (I realize I may 
incur some charges of my own!)
