Things could be worse, at work I have a Y2K compliant computer with a
NON-compliant Modem -- makes for 'dropping' back to blank screen when I'm
trying to work.

can we say AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH????
I've been told that if I toss the computer on the ground and stomp on it,
I'll get fired -- but I'm tempted --
